Grilled Pork Kebabs (Shashlik) Шашлыки

These are Russian tradition, every time we make a party shashlik is a must. Everybody loves em. This recipe is perfect tender and juicy shashlik.

   Ingredients:
7 lbs pork shoulder
7-8 large onions
4 cups pineapple juice
1 tbs sea salt
1 tbs vegeta sesoning
1/2 tsp ground coriander
Few dashes of ground cumin
Black pepper

Cut onion in circles or half circles. Squeeze with your hands to make em juicy.
Cut meat in 1 by 2 inch sizes.
Important to use pork shoulder meat with some fat. Then it will be perfect shish kebab.
Mix together with onion and spices.
Add pineapple juice. Mix and cover leave overnight.
This is a different recipe  I tried.
Club soda, ketchup, whipping cream, salt, pepper, vegeta, coriander, onion and pork.
It was delicious. It had a little different  taste.
I made like a little bit to try this recipe. My sister in law told me about this new recipe. We really enjoyed it.
Next day put meat on the wood sticks for bbq.
Like 3-4 pieces on each.
BBQ
                    Enjoy!!!

  2. Does the pineapple juice not make the meat sweet?

    1. It has a little hint of sweet. If you don't like sweet hint just use a lot of onion and skip on pineapple juice. Or try the other recipe with ketchup and whipping cream. I really liked em both. I hope it helps:)
      Thanks Lesia✿✿✿
