Sweet Pirojki Filled with Cream Cheese and Poppy Seeds
Baked pirojki are everybody's favorite "sweet pirogi". This delightful combination of cream cheese and poppy seeds is going to make you taste buds dance. It gives such pleasing taste. First time I tried these pirogi I loved it so much. I never made poppy seeds filling before because it was too dry for me. But when you add cream cheese to it, that becomes scrumptious.

Water Kefir Recipe "Elixir of Life"
This is my favorite drink. I been making it for almost 2 years.
Water kefir is made from kefir grains, also known as sugar grains, tibicos, tibi, or Japanese water crystals. The grains make up a cultures of various strains of healthy bacteria and yeast, held together in a polysaccharide matrix created by the bacteria. The symbiotic relationship of the microbes produces a stable growing culture. The microbes feed on sugar and produce lactic acid, alcohol (ethanol), and carbon dioxide, yielding a fermented carbonated beverage. The alcohol content is usually very minimal, less than 1 %. The health benefits of consuming water kefir are endless. They are a natural supplier of probiotics to our digestive tract. Probiotics refers to the healthy bacteria that usually feeds on the “bad” unhealthy bacteria in our stomach and intestines.
Traditional Russian Olivie Salad «Оливье»
One of the most popular is the famous Olivie Salad. A quite solid salad that very well fits to be served as a standalone dish. Everybody has their own version like mom used to make. I have 1 secret ingredient that I add. You can replace the bologna with cold Ham, Beef tongue or Chicken – as with many popular Russian recipes, there is plenty of variations.

Russian Famous Red Borsch Recipe
A wonderfully delicious and easily prepared borsch recipe handed down from generations. From the first sight, looks like simple mix of beets and cabbage. There are so many versions of borsch. Try this Borsch recipe, it really gives a great meal. Serve with French bread, or some Russian style black bread if you can find it. I can't recommend this recipe highly enough. Russian borscht is a time-consuming effort, but the results are worth it: a rich, chicken base with a robustness you can’t find in any canned soup. It can be made with beef or vegetarian.
