Ingredients:
2 lbs beets
1 large onion
2 large bell peppers
3 tbs sugar
1 tsp salt
3 oz vinegar
3 oz water
4 oz oil
Mix all liquids add sugar, salt. Stir and pour into shredded vegetables.
First you peel the beets.
Then shred it.
Cut bell peppers into strips.
Cut onions into strips.
Mix and boil for 20 min. Cool it and enjoy.
What kind of a shredder would you recommend? I have been looking for a good one that shreds really fine pieces of vegetables. Thank you- love your recipes!
ReplyDeleteI would recommend electric for this kind of salad. Something like Professional SaladShooter or SaladMaster Food Processor Chopper Shredder or kitchen aid shredder attachment. Hope this makes it easier for you to decide on what to get.

Hi how many onions are you supposed to use? in the ingredients it says 1, but in the pictures I see 3? Thanks in advance. Looking forward to making this salad.
