Creamy Meat Gravy "Podliva"

This delicious gravy you can eat with any side dish. Gravy and meat is cooked very quickly and easy, especially if you are accompanied step by step recipe.


        Ingredients:
2 lbs pork or any meat of your choice
1 onion
3 carrots
1-2 cups heavy whipping cream 
1-2 tbs Better than Bullion
3 tbs flour (If you like it very thick add 3tbs corn starch too)
Dill, parsley flakes
Salt, pepper, bay leaf
Water enough to cover the meat
  

Cut meat into med large sized pieces. Put on the skillet with water. Boil for 10 min. Put meat in the pot cover with water about 1 inch over the meat.
Add BTB and bay leaf, salt (not to much salt BTB is already salted) .And add a whole onion. Boil 1-1.5 hrs depends on the meat.  
Then shred carrots add to a oiled skillet and cook until golden brown. Add a piece of butter sprinkle flour on it mix. (Or dilute flour and corn starch with a little water and add to the gravy rapidly stirring to avoid lumps formed).
Add heavy cream to the skillet. Turn off the stove.
You can take onion out at this point or at the end. Pour creamed carrots in the podliva.
Bring to a boil add dill, parsley flakes. Turn the stove off. Enjoy over rice, pasta, mashed potatoes or any other choices.

    1. This is not so thick. If you like it thicker add 3tbs corn starch.
