    4. Plov is now my fav dish to cook and approved 'taste like original Russian plov' by my husband ;). Being asian, I love to have plov with cucumber salad (asian style - with onion, chilli and vinegar). my next project - cheburek!

    5. I should try your cucumber salad sometime:) Asian food is very different, I have a lot of my favorite Asian dishes but with out the spicy ingredients. We love chebureki I have a good recipe for it:) Did you try olivie? Where do you live?

    6. Olivie , not yet but I will definitely try that. I am currently in Emirates. Btw, will my chebureki still taste good if I skip the vodka?

    7. Vodka makes The dough flaky. If you skip it will not be the same. Is Emirates in Dubai?

    12. Very nice weather in Seattle! U are lucky. Starting end of Sept, it will get colder here. But still, hot is better then extreme winter in Moscow! :-D

    13. I know, Moscow is cold. I am from Estonia and we had 4 months of snow in the winter. I so glad we have a warm rainy winter here and the summer is not too hot:-) It's really nice to talking to you. What is your name?

  3. Looks like a festive cake - just beautiful. :) You reminded me of the "layered salad period" in Russia when everybody was cooking layered salads and competing with one another. Thanks for the inspiration, I will make something like that soon.
The mouse-topper is adorable. You are a great 'masteritsa'. :)

    1. Sure you can mix it. I made it up myself, I guess it looks more fun for the pictures when it's layered:)
