Cucumber Cabbage Salad

This is the best salad that my mom made since I can remember. It's easy to make and it can stay fresh for a long time. The salad is perfect for picnics  because it does not loose it's taste. It' very popular for parties and kids love it too. My husband brought it to work, people was asking for this recipe. So, here it is:)

      Ingredients:
1/2 cabbage  head
2 Persian cucumbers or 1 small English cucumber
1/2 sweet onion
1 tbs vinegar
Salt, dill
Oil (I like to use grape seed  and sunflower oil mix)

Cut cabbage into thin slices. Add salt and press with your hands for a minute like kneading dough until it starts to become juicy.
Add vinegar, mix.
Slice onions add to the cabbage.
Slice cucumbers. Add dill cucumbers and oil. Mix well.
Enjoy with your favorite meal.
