This cake I made for a party. Baking it is fast and easy, and the taste becomes quite interesting because of the unusual cream. Everyone loved the cake, especially for those who loves halvah :) The primary ingredients in the halvah are sunflower seeds and sugar.

Sponge cake (Biskvit):
12 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour (I use Canadian flour)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
Butter cream: (You can use jam, sweetened condensed milk or dulce de leche instead of halvah.)
5 sticks (600 gr) butter, softened at room temp
3/4 can sweetened condensed milk
6 egg yolks
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 tbs of vanilla
100 gr - 200 gr of Halvah
1/4 cup berry jam (I used it for the top cake)
Syrup for sponge cake:
2 cups of milk
2 tbs sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 to 1 cup walnuts
Meringue cookies from Trader Joe's (as many as you can fit)
Fondant Recipe
Preheat oven to 325 F.
Whisk eggs and sugar until thick and fluffy.
Add flour with baking soda and baking powder. Mix in by hand.
Pour in to 10 inch and 8 inch buttered baking pans.
Bake about 30 min on 325 F. Let it cool down.
Whisk egg yolks in the water bath.
Add powdered sugar.
Mix on high until it becomes thick and fluffy.
Use paddle attachment for the butter.
Whisk it until it gets fluffy.
Add egg yolks while mixing.
This is optional: Set 1/3 of the butter cream aside for the berry flavor.
Add berry jam to 1/3 part of cream.
Grate halva on the small grater.
Add to the butter. And add vanilla.
Cut cakes in half lengthwise.
Soak each layer with milk syrup.
Spread thinly berry cream on the 8 inch cake. I used just berry cream on the 8 inch cake. You can add fruits in it.
Spread halva cream on 10 inch cake not too thick. Cream is really buttery.
I added walnuts and meringue cookie crumbs inside.
Close it with second layer, cover with cream. Refrigerate for a few hours. At this point you can decorate any way you like. I covered it with Fondant.
For the top 8 inch cake use circle cardboard under.
Cover cake with Fondant.
Color the sides with spray paint.
Use straws on the bottom cake for holding the top cake.
Place top cake on top. I made flowers ahead. Here is HIBISCUS TUTORIAL.
For sides use circle cutters.
Use border cutter for bottom cake.
Now it's more dressed up. Add flowers on top.
