Green Onion Cauliflower Fritters (Оладьи из цветной капусты)

This is an unusual but delicious way to eat cauliflower. My kids really enjoyed this recipe. Serve these Cauliflower Fritters with chutney or salsa for an easy meatless meal. Sour cream is also a nice addition.

Ingredients: ( I updated this recipe on 12/04/2012)
1/2 head Cauliflower
3 eggs
1 bunch green onion
3/4 cup mixed shredded cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan or smoked gauda cheese
3-4 large cloves garlic
Salt, pepper, (vegeta optional)
Panko bread crumbs to roll in
Butter  or oil to saute

Shred cauliflower. You can microwave for a few min to make cauliflower softer.
Mix all ingredients in the bowl.
Saute on med. If the batter gets too liquid at the end pour liquid out or add a little bit of flour.

The best way to keep em from breaking is to press with your hands 1 tbs of batter in panko bread crumbs. Cook until it becomes golden brown then turn em on the other side. It's crispier with panko.

Enjoy!!!

  5. I made those yesterday:only used half of cauliflower, instead of mix cheeses+Parmesan I added mozzarella(didn't have those cheeses on hand)but when I mix everything together, mix didn't want to stay together,so I had to fix it some how,so I add two tbsp. of mayonnaise+2 tbsp. of flour.flipping fritters was a challenge too.but the taste was worth all of those challenges,It taste SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!,all I missed is the salsa that you put on the picture,my husband loved those better over draniki,he think it taste like fish kotleti, but to me they just taste so good and easy to make!!!!!thank you

  6. Sometimes it will get liquid at the end i just add a little flour in it. But i like how it taste with out flour. When i made it first time my 2 year old ate so many of them. When my daughter came back from the neighbors house all of fritters were gone. So next time i made much more.
    Thanks✿✿✿
